Pitts has been released !

11.7.2010 I was with Pitts at airfield finally. On Saturday 10th of July - engine adjusting and startup procedure. I spent two tanks of fuel taxiing. On Sunday 11th of July late afternoon. Into air! Three beatiful flights and landings. Almost nothing to trim just elevator little bit down. The first flights are without engine cowl because of better engine cooling down.

June 6th 2010 Pitts in colors.

April 10th 2010 - I have covered whole plane. The VLIESE is fine material and I gain new experience. I am going to colour by acryle in next weeks. The plane will be painted on next snapshots. As following job I have to laminate the engine cowl.

March 10th 2010 - The engine (DLE-30) has been delivered finally. I escaped the model from preserving folio, puttied and prepared to cover the skeleton. I will cover using Vlies. It is the first time I use this material. I hope it will be fine. I will write about it next time.
